MDS 2020- First phase of Allotment
The first phase allotment to PG dental course for 2020[ in the Government /Private Self Financing Dental colleges] has been published . In view of the pandemic situation in the country due to Covid-19, the rank in the Kerala State merit list and category of the candidates published on 18.04.2020 was provisional. Since the First phase of allotment published is based on the provisional rank list,the allotment published at this phase is also provisional. Those candidates who get an allotment in the first phase of allotment are instructed to ensure their seats through Virtual Admission.
The allotment result is available in the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in. To view the allotment result, candidates should log on to the ‘PG Dental 2020 – Candidate Portal’ by submitting their Application Number and Password. Clicking on the menu ‘Allotment Result’, the candidates can view their allotment details. Thereafter by clicking on the link ‘Payment of Fee and Virtual admission’, the candidates can remit the fees as specified in the candidate portal to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations by way of Online Payment and can take admission virtually. Those who complete the remittance of fee will be provided with a Virtual Admission Slip. By generating the Virtual allotment slip the candidates can confirm that their virtual admission process is complete.
No physical joining at the allotted college is necessary at this phase. The balance tuition fee, if any, should be remitted at the allotted college at the time of physical joining to be scheduled after the second allotment. The candidates should also submit the documents and certificates in proof of their academic eligibility as per the clause 4 of the Prospectus at the time of physical joining at the college. The details and schedule of physical allotment will be published later.
The SC/ST/OEC candidates who have got any allotment in the first phase shall have to pay a token fee of Rs 1000- to ensure their virtual admission, which will be refunded later.
The candidates are directed to complete the process of virtual admission before 04.05.2020, 5 pm. The allotted candidates who do not take Virtual Admission before the time specified will lose their present allotment as well as all the lower order options. Note: Candidates who have claimed any reservation such as caste or category have been provisionally included in the rank list and given provisional allotment. But any of the candidates who fail to prove their claim for the status and proof of their academic eligibility at the time of admission, will lose their allotment and admission as per the eligibility criteria. However, those candidates who have been issued memo for uploading valid documents to support their category and /or nativity claims, should upload such documents before the second phase of allotment within the stipulated time limit.
